LIGHT EXPOSES DARKNESS

THE HOLY BIBLE

Light is a form of electromagnetic radiation that makes vision possible--Wikipedia.

When Jesus said that He is the Light of the world, He was saying that He is the One who makes all things visible and gives them life. In Him there's no darkness--John 8:12, Matthew 5:14-15.

In a rural community without electricity, the smallest light even from a match stick makes a great difference.

To understand the importance of light in a dark place, it calls for first hand experience.

Jesus said in Matthew 5:14, "You are the light of the world."

No one lights a lamp and hides it or keeps it in an obscure place. It is placed where it can illuminate the room.

#Light up the World

Therefore, as church, we are to be light in the world.

For the church is meant to be a spiritual organ not an ordinary physical entity.

God by Nature is the Spirit---Supernatural.

The church cannot operate adequately without the supernatural gifts needed to build up the body of Christ.

#Knowledge is useful

Knowledge is profitable, but if that knowledge is in the wrong hands, it becomes a danger to humanity.

It's the reason the church must operate in the power of the Holy Spirit not only for the benefit of the body, but for the benefit of the whole world.

#The Church is a Supernatural Organ

Why is it necessary to highlight the supernatural nature of the church?

It cannot serve its purpose any other way. Failure to operate in the supernatural, will lead to blindness that destroys lives, and make people subject to the powers for which Christ died to free. And it will result in exploitation and abuse by false teachers and false believers.

#Sin is a Spirit

Because of the source and nature of sin, operating in Spiritual Gifts is important--1 Corinthians 12.

And since the body is made up of many parts with different gifts, all hands should join to successfully meet the spiritual needs of the body.

#The Government is upon His Shoulder

The church has a voice in every area of society including politics. No area of human endeavour is forbidden.

Afterall, the government, Isaiah 9:6 declares, shall be on the shoulder of the King of kings.

May the LORD grant us boldness to declare His truth.

We are the body of Christ, and as the Head is Spiritual, the body is united spiritually in a Supernatural union as One with the Father and Son.

Let the Church arise!

We cannot operate without the supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit.

In fact, we where never meant to. That was why Jesus told the disciples to wait, until they had received the Holy Spirit--Acts 1:8.
