BOOKS OPENED IN HEAVEN

Life has a lot to teach every generation.
Recording moments and events in books is how we remember what happened in the past.
To most, the thought that God keeps a Book of records in Heaven is something that makes them fearful.
The thought leaves most feeling helpless, especially the powerful.
But unlike human masters who abuse their positions for selfish gains, God's purpose is always for the good of humanity.
#The Power and Authority of God
The fact that we are under God's authority, and are helpless to determine the sort of information God holds about us, or influence what He does with the information should put the fear of God in us.
Yet, we see humans who naturally selfish, want to place themselves in positions where they exercise such power and authority over their fellow humans, forgetting that all were created equal.
Thanks be to God who does not treat us as our sins deserve. In His anger, He shows mercy. We know that His unfailing love and faithfulness endures forever.
#Testimony: And the Books were Opened
I have shared many testimonies in the past to help people understand the love of God which we have in Christ Jesus, and the relevance of the Bible in our present age.
During my encounter with Jesus Christ, when He came to rescue me from Satan's destruction, Books were opened and my sins read before me. One had records of my sins, While the last Book that Jesus opened had nothing written; all sins had been wiped out.
I stood before Jesus a sinner, but when it was all over, I was a new person with the angels singing and rejoicing in praise to God that all my sins had been wiped clean.
During the encounter, the LORD was kind and merciful, and asked that I confessed my sins. I couldn't remember most of them. But He had records. Where I had difficulty remembering, He played the scenes on a life screen.
Lovingly, He guided me through the process of confession, and once I had finished, wiped the pages clean. Opened to show all were removed.
When all the sins were dealt with, closed the Book, opened another.
The New Book held no records, just clean pages.
I was given the opportunity to start my life anew.
I was Born Again [John 3:3].
I will never fully understand why Jesus opened the Books before me, when the Bible says it will happen at the Final Judgement. Except so that I would be His witness, and inform the world this truth.
#Revelation 20:11-15
John the apostle who was exiled and received the messages recorded in the Book of Revelation, stood before a great white throne in a vision. He saw Books opened: "And the Books were opened, including the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to what they had done, as recorded in the books...And all were judged according to their deeds. The sea gave up its dead, and death and the grave gave up their dead. And all were judged...Then death and the grave were thrown into the lake of fire...And anyone whose name was not found recorded in the Book of Life was thrown into the lake of fire."
#Is there Hell?
There are many who debate the existence of hell. Jesus spoke at great length about hell, often using parables.
There's no doubt that hell exists. But the Good News for humanity is that Jesus gave His life on the Cross to prevent people from going there.
John 3:16, makes that very clear! God loved us and gave Jesus to die in our place to forgive our sins--wipe and remove every trace of sin, so that when we die we will be accepted into heaven to live with Him, not go to hell.
But we must accept His Sacrifice as the Lamb of God, and be washed by His Blood.
For JESUS is the Way the Truth and the Life--John 14:6.
