The Purpose of the Trumpet/Call

God as our Heavenly Father has left us with instructions that no one need be in doubt of His plan for the future. The word of God is a lamp to our feet and light to our path--Psalm 119:105.

We must cease from behaving like the children of Israel in the wilderness who kept whining and wanting to return to enemy territory instead of being grateful for freedom from slavery in Egypt. As the world embraces pagan beliefs in the worship of creation, promoted by the counterfeit church while pretending to promote Christianity, many without the Word are sure to be deceived.

In Numbers 10:1-10, God said to Moses, "Make two trumpets of hammered silver for calling the community to assemble and for signalling the breaking of camp..."

The trumpets had two main purposes; for calling the people together to the Tabernacle to gather before Moses when two were blown, and the other the leaders to appear before the LORD when only one was blown.

God said to Moses, "Only the priests, Aaron's descendants, are allowed to blow the trumpets. This is a permanent law for you, to be observed from generation to generation." [v8.]

As we near the Second Coming of Jesus and the time of Troubles, God is again using faithful people that He has gifted to warn and call others to be ready and prepare for End Time world events as recorded in the Scriptures. The fact that someone is a professional minister does not mean they have this responsibility, as it is not learned or gifted in a classroom with a certified degree. The prophets from Abraham, Moses, Samuel, Isaiah, Daniel, Habakkuk to the apostles warned believers to be prepared so that nothing catches them unawares.

The greatest problem the world is facing in these last days is lies and deception as Satan disguises with falsehood sweeping across the world even in the church as many have been bought with money. Many cannot see the face behind the mask, because it is spiritually discerned.

Some have ignored the warning of the apostles regarding the counterfeit church that is luring many away from Christ through human teachings as truth is being watered down or rejected in favour of nice sounding motivational teachings and false ideologies as they hold on to the spirit of witchcraft and sorcery.

As a result, we have some places of worship full of people whose desire is to be entertained or given false promises, as they are made to feel good while feeling offended when the hard truth of the Gospel such as repentance and the cross is preached. Forgetting the Gospel was given way back in the Garden of Eden ever before the existence of socio-economic societies, religions and politics.

Many laugh at those who warn of the Time as the world matches down the path that leads to destruction, especially as the time is short. They have been given a false promise of the church that will rapture before Tribulation. Forgetting Jesus will not take unrepentant people to heaven.

When God has called a believer to a life of service in these last days, focussing on the mission of God is everything as the enemy's plan is to keep people from the truth as he seeks to keep people ignorant in order to claim souls.

When we look at the prophet's and the apostles in the Bible, they were not men and women who focussed on themselves or had easy lives.

The call of God leads the called into enemy territory which means battle to stop the purpose and plan of God which often result in hardships and persecutions. Knowledge of the word of God keeps us from seeing ourselves as failure, because the battle is not personal but against God and success is in finishing the task at hand.

Saul, the pharisee persecuted and killed Christ's followers until when on the road to Damascus, he met the risen Christ. His perspective changed and so did his name from Saul to Paul.

Jesus asked, "Saul! Saul! Why are you persecuting Me?" Up till that moment Paul had thought he was persecuting the followers of Jesus; unbelievers in God, because of his love for 'God'. But as God opened his heart and changed his life, he came to understand that the God he thought he was serving by killing in the hope of protecting and serving was the one he was persecuting. The same God of the Old Testament unknown to him was, after all the God of the New Testament who had revealed Himself as the Messiah of Israel as predicted by the Old prophetic Scriptures, to Redeem the world from sin; the Jews first and the Gentiles also as recorded by Isaiah 44:6-8 and the Book of Revelation 22:13.

In the account of my salvation story, after Satan attempted to destroy me having disguised in a hooded Monk-like robe, a habit often depicted by artists as worn by Jesus, [although when I later met Jesus He wore nothing of the sort.] His carefully orchestrated plan of deception was exposed when God spoke from heaven. [Story in the book, A Chosen Witness under My Salvation Story] "The thief is in the world to kill, steal and destroy. I came to give you life"--John 10:10. God then handed me a trumpet and said whenever I saw him appear, I was to warn people by blowing the trumpet. Satan whose earlier attempt had been to push me to end my own life also heard God's command and fled.

From that day, every attempt was made to stop the mission of God sometimes using even the most well-intended people. When God calls, pray for Him to direct you by sending good people to come alongside you for support, genuine believers.

However, don't be anxious as what God started, He will complete.

What was surprising is how most people the enemy sent knew God's purpose for my life ever before I came to full knowledge, reason I share my testimonies.

Therefore, watch those whose advice is contrary to what God's plan for you is as the enemy will seek to kill the purposes and plans from being fulfilled. For not all belong to God and as a result will not embrace God's plans and purposes. The devil also has his watchmen and women who work tirelessly to put an end to people coming to the knowledge of the truth. As wolves they do everything to prevent exposure by masking as Jesus or as sheep.

Therefore, put your trust in the LORD to see you through and fulfil the task He has given you.

This generation need to hear the Truth, for we have been called to carry our crosses and follow the Saviour whatever the cost.
